Hello, I'm Erik. I have a formal background in mathematics, but I spend most of my time programming. As of right now, my primary interests and time are spent in back-end and front-end development. Though I like spending time researching any topics that interest me.
Speaking of, I have a strong interest in Linux. There is something to be said about the serenity of having absolute control over your own machine... at least until everything breaks (some say this is the fun part).
I also have an interest in cryptography, to the point where I'm able to understand and comfortably use well known cryptographic primitives for my projects. I've also participated in a couple Capture The Flag (CTF) competitions alongside friends who specialize in cyber-security. I find web-pen, crypto and reverse engineering challenges to be the most fun.
Currently, I work full-time as a product specialist at a software company called Zegeba. As a side hustle, I trick Windows users into using Linux—they usually thank me afterwards.
